Orientation Programme

The Academic Core Committee organized a two-day orientation programme for B.Ed. IInd year students on 24th and 25th July. Students were oriented about their theory papers, course outcomes, internship schedule and various co-curricular components for the academic year.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Cultural Committee organized  “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026” from 9th to 17th August with enthusiastic participation of students in various patriotic and creative activities under convenership of Dr. Preeti Sangwan. The campaign commenced on 9th August with an Essay Writing Competition. On 10th August, students participated in Haryanvi, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu poem competitions. 11th August event was English and Hindi Debate Competition, encouraging students to express their views on patriotic themes. On 12th August, Patriotic Song and English Poem Competitions were organized.
A Sketch Making Competition was conducted on 13th August, followed by a Documentary Competition on 14th August. On 15th August, students participated in a Poster Making Competition celebrating the spirit of Independence Day. A Slogan Writing Competition was organized on 16th August, fostering creativity and patriotic expression.
The campaign concluded on 17th August with a Tiranga Pledge Ceremony, led by Pooja (Roll No. 260). Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and creativity throughout the campaign. The activities successfully promoted patriotism, national unity, cultural expression and respect for the Tricolour, making the campaign meaningful and memorable for the college community.

Participation in Gen-H Ideathon 2026

Rao Lal Singh College of Education, Sidhrawali, participated in the Gen-H Ideathon 2026 through a live-streaming session held on 21 August 2026. The programme was addressed by Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, with a focus on fostering innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students. The session was attended by B.Ed. 2nd Year students and teaching faculty in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Tania Gupta. Principal.

The programme was organized at the college under the aegis of the Research Cell, convened by Dr. Preeti Sangwan, with the objective of encouraging innovative ideas, creativity and research-oriented thinking among future educators. The session provided valuable insights and motivated student-teachers to explore innovative ideas contributing to their professional growth and social development.

Sh. Rao Lal Singh Ji’s 118th Birth Anniversary Celebration

The college commemorated the 118th Birth Anniversary of Sh. Rao Lal Singh Ji on 2nd September with a sacred Hawan ceremony. Hon’ble President Major Ashok Yadav; Principal Prof. (Dr.) Tania Gupta; along with the teaching and non-teaching staff members and students, participated in the ceremony. Prayers were offered for peace, harmony, happiness and the well-being of all, followed by Prasad distribution.
