Orientation Programme
An orientation programme was organised for 1st year students on 21st, 22nd and 29th September to orient them about the course activities, programme outcomes and course outcomes.
Road Safety Quiz
Road Safety Quiz Competition under the guidance of Gurugram University was organized on 13 October. The purpose was to sensitize young minds about traffic rules and the importance of following traffic rules. The event was organised by college Youth Red Cross Society.
Swachchta Rally
An awareness rally was organized in Sidhrawali village on 21 October to sensitize the villagers about the importance of cleanliness.
Zonal Youth Festival
Gurugram University organized 4th zonal Youth Festival from 3rd to 5th November. Our students participated enthusiastically and won prizes in several categories.
Talent Hunt
Talent hunt-cum-Freshers’ party was organised for 1st year students on 21st and 22nd November. Students participated in various literary, fine arts and cultural events, and showcased their talents. The event saw some of the extraordinary performances by the students. Mahek won the title of Ms. Fresher and Himanshu won the title of Mr. Fresher.
Teaching Aid Competition
Teaching-Aid Competition where students showcased their talent and creativity. The event held on 5 December witnessed full participation from the students who diligently prepared and presented their innovative teaching aids.
Rao Lal Singh Memorial Day
Rao Lal Singh Memorial Day was celebrated on 7th December. The day started with hawan, seeking the blessings of the divine power. A multidisciplinary exhibition was organized wherein the students presented their models from various subjects. Also, the students presented an array of cultural activities.
Teaching Practice
Teaching practice for B.Ed. students was held in various government schools to provide students an opportunity to practice their teaching skills in a real classroom environment under the supervision of teachers. This practice aimed to equip B.Ed. 1st and 2nd year students with practical teaching experiences and enhance their pedagogical skills. The practice spanned from November to December and included micro-teaching skills, simulated teaching, experiences in college and real teaching experiences in various Government Schools.
Awareness Program on Road Safety and Cyber Security
Our college Youth Red Cross organized a one-day awareness program on 13th January on ‘Road Safety’ in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gurugram.
Lohri Celebration
On 13th January students along with the faculty members came together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The festivities commenced with the traditional lighting of the bonfire, symbolizing the warmth and unity of the community. Accompanied by the melodious rendition of “Sunder Mundriye,” all participants gathered around the crackling flames, adding to the ambiance of merriment and cheer.
Republic Day Celebration
75th Republic Day was celebrated by the college with full patriotic fervor paying tribute to the freedom fighters, soldiers and the nation builders.
26th Annual Athletic Meet
26th Annual Athletic Meet was organized on 8th and 9th February. The students participated in various events with the true spirit of sportsmanship.
Deworming Day
National Deworming Day was observed on 15th February with the aim of eradicating intestinal worms. This initiative seeks to improve overall health, nutritional status, access to education, and the quality of life for our community. Students delivered lectures on the importance of observing National Deworming Day and also highligted the effects of worms in human body and health. The programme was organised by the College Youth Red Cross.
Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar
Surya namaskar practice session was organised on 20th February under the ‘Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar’ campaign of the District AYUSH Department. Mr. Sahil, Yog Sahayak, demonstrated all the 12 steps of Suryanamaskar in front of the students. Students practiced the steps along with the Yog Sahayak.
Voter Awareness Programme
Our college Youth Red Cross organized a ‘Voter Awareness Programme’ on 23rd February in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gurugram. The program aimed to educate students about the importance of voting and the process of voter registration.
Trip to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya
One-day educational trip to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi was organised for students on 27th February. They did various activities like VR walk with PM, simulated helicopter ride, participated in discussions addressing societal issues, engaged in memory games and technology-driven feedback sessions.
Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye Campaign
Our college is celebrating ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’ Voter Awareness Campaign as per the guidelines of MoE. on 4th March students were guided about the voter card registration process and the voter helpline app.
International Women’s Day Celebration
International Women’s Day was celebrated on 7th March with an inspiring Extension Lecture and vibrant student performances. The resource person Ms. VijayShri Attri delivered a lecture on ‘POSH Awareness and Self Worth-Value yourself’. The event was organised by Women Cell of the college.
Farewell Party
International Yoga Day Celebration
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2024 on the college premises. Students took the yoga pledge to imbibe yoga in their lifestyle and practice it daily. Students practiced some asanas and breathing exercises along with Om chanting. Students also participated in yoga programme at Gurugram University, Gurugram on 13th and 21st June 2024.
