Celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Rao Lal Singh College of Education to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the father of our nation- Mahatma Gandhi on 01st October, 2019. The programme began with a special tribute to Gandhi ji by RLS Students with Bhajan. During this programme students shared the anecdotes from Gandhi Ji’s life and his educational philosophy that encouraged us to think about the simple livings of Gandhiji. Various events were organizedon Gandhi ji,s birth Anniversary like singing patriotic songs and bhajans which made the students and faculties emotional and created patriotic atmosphere.Gandhi’s favouritebhajans like ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’, and ‘Vaisnava Jana to tenekahiye’ were sung by students on the occasion. Other events were also organized like Poster making competition, Slogan writing, Debate and Skit etc. All the B.Ed. students participated enthusiastically in all the activities. The function was presidedover by our honorable Principal Dr. Vandana Gandhi, RaoLalsingh college of Education, Sidhrawali. Ms. ManjeetYadav proposed the vote of thanks on the last of the event and followed by National anthem.
