Orientation Programme for 2nd Year Students

An orientation programme was organised for 2nd year students on 12 and 13 July to orient them about the programme activities, course outcomes, teaching practice and internship.

Simulated Teaching Practice

Simulated teaching programme for B.Ed 2nd year student-teachers was organised from 16th to 22nd July. Student-teachers are prepared for real classroom situations in a controlled and risk-free environment during the simulated teaching. To provide hands-on experience in a real classroom setting and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills student-teachers were sent to various schools for internship from 23 July to 22 September.

Independence Day Celebration

’Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ was celebrated under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to honour our national flag and spirit of unity on 14/8/2024.

Rao Lal Singh Ji Birth Anniversary

A Hawan Ceremony was organised on 2nd September to mark the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rao Lal Singh Ji, a visionary and social worker whose life has inspired many across the generations. Invoking the divine blessings, the chanting of the sacred mantras purified the environment with the sacred vibrations inspiring the members of the institution to continue to work in peace and harmony, continuing the visionary’s legacy.

Deworming Day Celebration

Our students celebrated De-worming Day on 18th September in their respective teaching practice schools. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of deworming for children’s health.

Orientation Programme for 1st Year Students

Orientation programme for the newly admitted B.Ed. 1st year students was organised on 1st October. The purpose was to familiarize the students with the college, the programme and the course.

Mehendi Competition

Mehendi Competition was organised on 19th October, as part of Karwachauth celebrations.

Visit to Sonam Prabha Special School and Ahsaas Old Age Home, Bhiwadi

On 25th October, the faculty and students of R.L.S. College of Education, Sidhrawali, visited Sonam Prabha Special School and Ahsaas Old Age Home in Bhiwadi, fostering a spirit of compassion and community service. This visit, organized as part of the college’s welfare initiatives, provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to connect with individuals from different walks of life, offering their time, resources, and companionship.The team from R.L.S. College generously contributed various essential items to both institutions, aiming to meet specific needs and improve the daily lives of the residents. During the visit students engaged with the special school children and elderly residents through conversations.Through this heartwarming experience, the students of R.L.S. College gained invaluable insights into the importance of empathy, service, and responsibility toward different sections of society.

Drug Awareness Program

Drug awareness program was organised by our college Youth Red Cross in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gurugram on 9th November.

National Education Day Celebration

To celebrate National Education Day, the Academic Core Committee organized an event on 11th November. The students shared their thoughts and ideas on various aspects of education and its status in India.The staff and students pledged to take initiatives to educate each and every individual while providing quality education.

5th University Youth Festival

Our students participated in 5th University Youth Festival organized by Gurugram University from 13th to 15th November, showcasing their talents across a wide range of activities, including dance, music, folk song, poetry recitation, shloka uchcharan, poster making, rangoli, Haryanvi skit, mime, and more. Our students brought the laurels to the college by securing various positions in different events:

Talent Hunt Program

A vibrant two-day Talent Hunt cum Freshers’ Party was organised on 29th & 30th November, to warmly welcome the B.Ed. first-year students. The event provided a platform to the students to showcase their talents and connect with peers. Different categories of events like performing arts, literary and fine arts were organised in which students showcased their talents. Khushi won the title of Ms. Fresher 2024 and Pritam became Mr. Fresher 2024.

Rao Lal Singh Memorial Day & Golden Jubilee Celebration

Golden Jubilee Celebrations were held on the occasion of Rao Lal Singh Memorial Day on 7 December. The event celebrated the legacy of Rao Lal Singh Ji. Hon’ble Dr. Tejpal Singh, Retd. PR Commissioner, GST, Delhi, Indian Revenue Services graced the occasion with his esteemed presence as chief guest. President- Major Ashok Yadav, General Secretary- Sh. R.S. Yadav, Governing Body members, Principal- Dr. Kamlesh Rao, Staff members, and students were among the revered gathering. The celebration began with a Hawan ceremony, marking a tribute to Rao Lal Singh Ji, followed by a series of vibrant cultural performances by the students. The students who excelled in academics and co-curricular activities were honored for their achievements.

National Youth Festival 2025- Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025

Our students participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 which was conducted in 3 stages at state-level. Himanshu Bhardwaj from B.Ed. 2nd Year became the state champion securing 1st position. He was felicitated during the closing ceremony of the State Youth Festival held at Palwal on 5 January 2025 with a shield and a cash prize of Rs. 11,000/-. He represented Haryana state during stage-4 of the event held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi among the Youth representatives from different states of the country in the presence of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi.

Lecture on PoSH Act Awareness

Internal Committee for the prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplaces,  organised an extension lecture on the PoSH Act, on 7th January.The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the PoSH Act, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and respectful work environment for women at workplace. The lecture provided insights into the key provisions of the Act, including the definition of sexual harassment, procedures for filing complaints and conducting inquiries.

Lohri Celebration

On 13th January the vibrant festival of Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm. A traditional bonfire was lit that symbolizes the essence of Lohri and everyone gathered around to sing folk songs and enjoy the festivities. The event witnessed the active participation of all staff members and students creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The celebration highlighted the rich cultural heritage and fostered a sense of unity and togetherness. The event was organized by the Cultural Committee.

Women Health Awareness Programme

A women’s health awareness programme was organised on 16th January to sensitize the students about the importance of menstrual hygiene and its crucial role in preventing diseases. Students were encouraged to adopt proper hygiene practices and risks associated with unhygienic conditions were discussed.

Republic Day & National Voters Day Celebration

Our college celebrated Republic Day and National Voters’ Day on 25th January, organised by Cultural Committee. The program began with a series of inspiring speeches by students highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the role of voters in shaping the nation. This was followed by heartfelt poems and melodious patriotic songs which stirred a sense of pride among the audience. As part of National Voters’ Day, everyone present took a pledge to exercise their voting rights responsibly and contribute to strengthening democracy.

Har Ghar Pariwar Surya Namaskar Campaign 2025

Surya Namaskar  practice sessions were conducted from 24th-30th January under the “Har Ghar Pariwar Surya Namaskar Campaign-2025”The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students who were guided through 12 poses of Surya Namaskar. The event was organized by the Yoga Club and aimed to raise awareness about health and fitness.

27TH ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET

27th Annual Athletic Meet was successfully organized on the 3rd and 4th of February with great enthusiasm and
sportsmanship. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Major Ashok Yadav, President of Rao Lal Singh Shiksha Parishad, and Guest of Honor, Sh. S.K. Yadav, Secretary, Rao Lal Singh Shiksha Parishad, who encouraged the athletes with their inspiring words. The presence of Dr. (Mrs.) Kamlesh Rao, Principal, along with the Principal and Vice Principal of Rao Lal Singh Public School, added prestige to the occasion.

Swacchta Abhiyan

On 15th February, our college proudly contributed to the “Swachh Haryana Mission”, through cleanliness drive, tree plantation and awareness campaigns. Promoting cleanliness for a better tomorrow.

International Women’s Day Celebration

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women Cell organised an awareness rally to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment on 8th March. The rally commenced at 10:30 a.m. from college and continued through various parts of the Sidhrawali village. Faculty members and students actively participated in the rally, holding banners and placards bearing powerful slogans advocating for women’s rights, equality, and empowerment.
